How cold was it?
It was so cold... we had to cover up our bloomin' bushes last night so they wouldn't get frost bite.
It was so cold... that when I got out of the shower this morning, the fire alarms went off in my house from the shock of the heat from the shower.
It was so cold... I almost don't want to go to Vala's Pumpkin Patch tonight for fear my nose might fall off.
I hope we don't have a lot of other cold days like this, but of course, this is Iowa.
