Our Carved Pumpkin

At work yesterday, we split into groups and competed against

each other to see who could come up with the most creative pumpking with the materials supplied. Our Miss Halloween 2006 totally should have won, but she didn't. She's a photo of her before she lost her champagne all over her skirt and shoes.

She totally should have won. No one else even carved into their pumpkin! I'm mad...

Yeeeeah! This is my dog, Ripley, dressed up for Halloween! Doesn't he make a great Yoda? Everyone's jealous that they can't have a dog like Ripley. He goes well with Princess Leia and Darth down below. If you saw this photo on Tiffany's website, you may have noticed that Ripley gets a little excited about costumes. Rerun... Schmerun...

Nevermind. There are two episodes of Grey's Anatomy on tonight, and they are both reruns.

I guess they were afraid of competing against the World Series.

Looks like we'll be watching baseball tonight! (And maybe I'll get to sneak in the episode of America's Next Top Model I recorded last night...)

Tomorrow, The Nest editor in chief, Carley Roney will be on Live with Regis & Kelly to talk about Halloween decorating and entertaining ideas.

Possible slur behind fight on 'Grey's' set

"Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has finally addressed reports that, during an on-set altercation with Patrick Dempsey, he hurled a homophobic slur about another actor.

"I sincerely regret my actions and the unfortunate use of words during the recent incident on set," Washington says in People's next issue, on stands Friday. 'Both are beneath my own standards. ... I have nothing but respect for my co-workers ... and have apologized personally to everyone involved.'"

He's just apoligizing to save his job! You know the fans won't like him anymore after this anyways, so the producers should use the story line of how his hand shakes to oust him now while they have the chance.

I'll definitely be tuned in tonight to see what happens!

Have you started watching all those scary movies on TV? Matt and I have been watching the Subspecies movies this week, although they're more kitsch than scary. We're recording the scary movies on our media player so we can watch the scariest and cheesiest movies on Halloween night.

I'm so excited!

For my birthday this year, Matt got me and him tickets to Cirque du Soleil: Delirium. Now there's only 36 hours to go til I'm there! I've never been to a Cirque du Soleil show before, but I've always wanted to. I can't wait to see it!!!!!! (Can you tell that I'm excited?!)
