Lights Out!

At about 7:50 this morning all the lights went out at my place of work. There are no windows on my side of the building so it was pretty, darn dark! Luckily, I had charged my cell phone the night before, so that served as a handy flashlight. But all we did anyways was sit around and wait for something to happen. It took an hour for the power to come back on, but when it did, it was blinding. They said a transformer on our block blew, so everyone was out of power.

If I had known the light were going to be out for that long, I probably would have crawled under my desk and taken a nap. Now that I think about it, maybe that's why they didn't give us updates. Hmmmm....
